Sallys Holiday Cottages

A warm welcome awaits you at Sally's Holiday Cottages

Sally's holiday cottages are delightful, comfortable places to stay and relax and provide the ideal holiday location for exploring Dartmoor and the surrounding area. There is so much for all the family here, whether you are looking for an active break, walking, cycling, horseriding, bird watching, golf, fishing, visiting historic houses and gardens, surfing/bodyboarding on the north coast or just wish to sit and relax with a good book.

Our Holiday Cottages

The Smithy, a delightful detached holiday cottage, at Brentor, is set on a quiet lane leading on to Dartmoor and guests are invited to share the owners large garden and woodland accessed nearby.

The Bolthole and Annie's Cottage are both within the picturesque Devon village of Milton Combe, tucked away in the Tamar Valley Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (ANOB). There is an excellent pub with restaurant in the village. Buckland Abbey, where a self portrait by Rembrandt has been discovered, is close by and the family beaches and fishing villages of Looe and Polperro on the south coast are within easy reach.

Dogs welcome in our cottages

We know how much our four legged visitors need their holiday too! We welcome a dog, minimum age 12 months, in each of our self catering cottages.

We provide a welcome pack of dog towels, throws and dog bowls to ensure your dog quickly feels at home. We have also welcomed, by prior arrangement, cats, hamsters, rabbits and caged birds.

A cream tea awaits you on arrival

We are open 365 days a year. There is always a warm welcome and a Devon cream tea or cake is waiting for our guests on arrival. We personally oversee our cottages to ensure quality and cleanliness is maintained.

A beautiful location

The Smithy is situated on the western edge of Dartmoor and the Bolthole and Annie's Cottage are near the River Tavy, a tributary of the Tamar which flows along the border between Cornwall and Devon. There is breathtaking scenery, peace and tranquillity and outstanding natural beauty in all directions.

Dartmoor National Park, the Tamar Valley and Tavistock, the gateway to the Cornish Mining World Heritage Site, are all within easy reach. The beaches of South and North Cornwall and the South Devon coast are only a short drive away.

Peace and tranquility

You will find all our accommodation provides a perfect base to enjoy peace and tranquillity. If you are looking for a self catering holiday then you can be assured you will have the freedom, flexibility and privacy to do just as you wish, when you want.

We provide everything you need to enjoy the best of both indoor and outdoor living in this special part of Devon.

We realise how privileged we are to live here and hope we can share some of our enthusiasm for this wonderful landscape and all it has to offer with our guests.
